The Love & Dine Valentine dinner is a unique event that goes beyond the realms of normal Valentine’s Day events. Sticking true to the vision and mission of Mikono Speakers, the event is not just an opportunity for spouses to bond with each other over a sumptuous dinner and live entertainment on this special day, but it is also an excellent opportunity for them to learn and develop at a personal level by providing insight into improving relationships.
This special night will be in the form of an inspirational talk by Pastor Freddie Kyara and Mrs. Zuhura Sinare Muro, who will talk to our distinguished guests about building stronger and healthier relationships. At Mikono, we realise and appreciate the value of spousal relationships in individual wellbeing, and we also appreciate the strain the demands of our modern lifestyle puts on these valuable relationships. We see a cycle of depression whereby stresses of modern lifestyle disrupt spousal relationships, which in turn heap more stress on individuals, who then end up becoming less productive in their places of work and thus earn less, thus stressing their spousal relationships further and the cycle continues unabated. We see Valentine’s Day, through our Love & Dine event as the perfect opportunity to avoid or break this cycle of depression by rejuvenating and strengthening our relationships.
